Last week was a crazy busy week for me, so I spent one day preparing meals for the week that I was able to easily throw into the oven, cook and enjoy—no prep, no clean up! We decided to have Shepherd’s Pie the first night, however we wanted biscuits on top, so this is what we did…
Ingredients:
2 pounds hamburger
mashed potatoes (enough for 12 servings)
1- 8oz bag of Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 Jar of Gravy (or you can make it)
2 Containers of Biscuits (We used the large Butter Tastin Pillsbury Grands, so we only used about 12).
Directions:
Brown and crumble hamburger. Prepare your mashed potatoes. In a casserole dish, layer the bottom with mashed potatoes, then hamburger, then cheese, top with gravy and biscuits on top of the gravy.
Heat oven (preheat at 350). Cook for about 35 minutes, or until biscuits look lightly browned.
Enjoy!
this looks so easy and tasty – I’m pinning to make it soon! Thanks!

You are very welcome! Our family loves it! 🙂
My granny used to make Shepherds Pie. I forgot how good it was. I forgot about it since my granny died.
I pinned this recipe so I can make it for my grandkids. They’ve never had it. Well this granny wants to leave some memories for them also.
Thank you so much for sharing!! ?
